SOCIAL ANGST is more than just a blog, it is an invitation to aid in the building of wealth through the shared task of information distribution and discussion. It is a call to engage – engage in society, engage with your peers, engage in your political system, engage in spreading the wealth that is information, and engage in multiplying that wealth through discussion – so that collectively we may become more socially aware, more socially responsible, more socially vocal and ultimately more socially valuable.

In The News:
Another Manipulative Image Use, Barack Obama in Weatherproof

Gimme a break with this stuff. Unfortunately the companies receive an onslaught of attention as news organizations (and bloggers - hi mom!) report on the manipulative usage of Obama images for campaigns they do not endorse.  *sigh* Love the marketing genius (in theory), hate its usage.

Weatherproof has installed a huge billboard featuring President Obama wearing one of their jackets.  The company designed the ad without permission from the White House to use the image.  Yesterday I reported PETA's unauthorized usage of Michelle Obama in one of their campaigns.  I hope the First family has some type of legal recourse to deal with this blatant public manipulation...
