SOCIAL ANGST is more than just a blog, it is an invitation to aid in the building of wealth through the shared task of information distribution and discussion. I have mixed feelings about covering entertainment "news" here on Social Angst. However, this has been a good week for Black entertainment, so I offer you these stories under the guise of "Feel Good News":

Darius Rucker, well known frontman of Hootie & the Blowfish, became the first Black performer to win a Best New Artist CMA.

Halle Berry is also a winner. The actress has been selected to receive the prestigious Sherry Langsing Leadership Award for her ground breaking contributions to the entertainment industry.
